Gulabo Sitabo Sold to Amazon Prime

Gulabo Sitabo stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana and Vijay Raaz is all set to release directly on OTT platform.Theatres are close due to the corona pandemic spread and Nationwide lockdown, So the movie is releasing on Amazon Prime Video.The comedy-drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar is releasing on June 12.

According to the sources,the esitmated budget of Amitabh Bachchan's movie is around Rs 35- 40 Crores.The movie was sold the digital rights to Amazon Prime at Rs 30- 35 Crores.

These release put pressure on small and medium size movies which was scheduled to be release.The other movies are also lineup to be released online,the announcement made from OTT platform.

Salman Khan's movie 'Radhe' will directly release on Netflix ?

Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai directed by Prabhu Deva stars Salman Khan, Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in lead roles has reported to be release directly OTT platform.

Corona Pandemic spread has affected the entertainment industry and daily wage workers the most. While the report says, Salman Khan's movie 'Radhe:Your Most Wanted Bhai' which was scheduled to be released on Eid 2020 will now directly release on OTT platform like Netflix and Amazon Prime. The report also says that the makers are expecting Rs 250 crores from digital rights. While the similar reports were publish for Akshay kumar's movie "Laxmi Bomb".

Due to this Corona Pandemic,some producer whose movie is ready for release or scheduled for release are planning to release there movies directly on OTT Platform like Netflix and Amazon Prime

Rishi Kapoor passes away at 67; Bollywood stars and politician mourn on actor's death

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away today.The actor was admitted to the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital on Wednesday morning.

The actor from kapoor family enter bollywood in 1973 with 'Bobby.' After being diagnosed with cancer in 2018, he underwent treatment in New York for almost a year.After coming back to india he avoided attending public function.

All from actors to politicians including Prime Minster Modi has mourn the actor's death. Amitabh Bachchan wrote that this information "destroyed" him, Akshay Kumar termed the news "heartbreaking." Rajinikanth prayed for his "dearest friend" to rest in peace.

Irrfan Khan passed away today at  Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai, where he was admitted for colon infection.

Irrfan Khan’s last film was ‘Angrezi Medium’, which hit the screens days before the lockdown was announced.Due to the lockdown, ‘Angrezi Medium’ stopped playing in theatres and was later released on an OTT platform(hotstar).

Best known for his performance in films like 'Maqbool','Piku' and 'Hindi Medium'  the actor also archived a National Award for his powerful act in sports drama ‘Paan Singh Tomar’. Irrfan was also globally recognised for his performance in films like 'Slumdog Millionaire', 'Inferno' and 'Life of Pi'.
